American Telemedicine Association (ATA) The American Telemedicine Association is the leading resource and advocate promoting access to medical care for consumers and health professionals via telecommunications technology. ATA seeks to bring together diverse groups from traditional medicine, academic medical centers, technology and telecommunications companies, e-health, medical societies, government and others to overcome barriers to the advancement of telemedicine through the professional, ethical and equitable improvement in health care delivery.

Better Business Bureau (BBB) The Better Business Bureau provides instant access to business and consumer alerts as well as other helpful resources, including the ability to file a complaint online. This web site is provided by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc., and a system of over 150 Bureaus located throughout the United States and Canada.

Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) -- BIO is the world's largest industry organization serving and representing biotechnology.

Biotechnology Information Center -- One of ten information centers at the National Agricultural Library of the US Department of Agriculture.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services. The CDC's mission is to promote health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury, and disability. The site provides a wide range of health related information with links to national and international resources.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) -- Access EPA rules and regulations, agency news, events and other related resources.

FedLaw -- Federal and government legal information, including laws and statutes that pertain to particular states, congressional bills, Supreme Court, bankruptcy, circuit, and district courts, labor rulings and legal associations and organizations.

Fedstats -- Fedstats, maintained by the Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy, provides statistics from more than than 70 agencies in the United States Federal Government. The site provide easy access to the full range of statistics and information produced by these agencies for public use.

FirstGov -- One-stop access to all online U.S. Federal Government resources. FirstGov allows users to browse a wealth of information and conduct government related business online.

Food & Drug Administration (FDA) -- Source of general information about the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, links to various agency departments, including a phone directory of agency personnel.

Government Information Sharing Project -- The Government Information Sharing Project is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and administered at Oregon State University Libraries.   A comprehensive statistical resource for small and large businesses, economic development professionals, researchers, students, educators, journalists, state and local government agencies, and more.

International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) -- ISPE's membership includes nearly 23,000 pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals in 80 countries. ISPE is a catalyst for "Engineering Pharmaceutical Innovation" by providing Members with opportunities to develop technical knowledge, exchange practical experience, and collaborate with global regulatory agencies.

Library of Congress -- U.S. government’s official library provides comprehensive resources ranging from publications and news to events and exhibitions.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) -- PhRMA is an industry association comprised of approximately 100 U.S. companies committed to pharmaceutical research. The site has an excellent section on "Drugs in Development", along with industry facts and figures, health guides, answers to frequently asked questions and other pharmaceutical industry news.

Small Business Administration (SBA) -- The SBA provides a wide range of useful resources online from starting and financing a business to business plan writing and other local business assistance resources.

THOMAS Legislative Information -- An exceptional service of the Library of Congress providing comprehensive information, including summary and full text of congressional bills, commissions and advisory boards, access to congress, historical documents, and other government resources.

U.S. Customs -- Obtain information regarding rules and regulations about importing and exporting products, as well as immigration information. Part of the U.S. Treasury Department.

U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) -- The GPO, which prints and distributes the publications of Congress and the Executive Branch, provides extensive resources including online versions of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), the Federal Register, Congressional Bills, Congressional Record, Government Accounting Office Reports, and the U.S. Code (USC).
