Summary

Seagen is seeking a Performance Manager to lead the governance, service development, performance metrics definition, reporting methodology implementation and oversight of key performance reporting tools for the Facilities Management group of the Real Estate & Facilities (REF) organization.

This role is responsible for gathering formal and informal data to help meet reporting requirements, identify trends and opportunities for helping to achieve overall Facilities Team goals and exceed SeaGen expectations. In addition, this position will work in a broad range of areas related to facilities management, to support and drive transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Performance Manager will partner with all disciplines within and supporting the REF organization: information technology, finance, sourcing, facility management and building operations, sustainability, landlord relations and space planning in order to define service delivery duty standards at the site level. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Global Facilities Management.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategy and report on process performance including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction measures. Share performance information via reports distribution, team discussion, senior leader updates and business reviews
  • Work across all FM operational functions to monitor process performance, partner with multiple operations teams to identify improvement opportunities, and engage other key lines of business partners to maintain transparency
  • Develop and execute process improvements and project launches. Identify opportunity for transformational change and create and maintain initiatives needed to achieve short- and long-term strategic objectives
  • Shape and deploy a process management mentality that focuses on leveraging proven process improvement skill using continuous improvement (six-sigma/lean/DMAIC) methodologies
  • Manage the FM operations quality assurance program and utilize a data/fact driven approach to identify root cause and create innovative solutions to improve processes
  • Develop and implement a suite of management information reports applicable to the FM service matrix and engage with technology partners to develop effective automated tracking reporting and scorecards tools for KPIs, SLAs, monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports, etc. used to track performance
  • Have a deep understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements and become the FM Organization Subject Matter Expert (SME) for performance management
  • Perform change management activities to ensure new approaches and processes are updated from stakeholder feedback and lessons learned adopted
  • Measure, track and ensure vendor partner management and performance objectives are met or exceeded; Collect and maintain repository of metrics
  • Establish and deliver key initiatives as determined and agreed with the REF Leadership Team and Client; participate in special projects and/or facilitate ad hoc reporting requests as required.
  • Actively support an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence and personal success
  • Act as an ambassador for the FM Organization, adopting and maintaining the firm’s core values of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence

Qualifications:

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant specific experience in these areas: performance management, project management, facilities management, vendor management, organizational development, and contract vendor management oversite
  • Minimum of 5 years in roles requiring the ability to analyze data and effectively report trending to front line teams and senior leadership.
  • Ability to build strong networks and relationships at executive level, technology and solution partners, customers and vendor groups

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Technology, Project Management, or related field required
  • In depth knowledge of FDA and GxP regulatory requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Ability to mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others
  • Demonstrates proven ability to create strategic plans and monitor change programs and initiatives; Strong analytical and projects/program management background
  • Advanced level of critical thinking, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Six-sigma/LEAN certifications, skill or capability
  • Excellent ability to communicate up and down in the organization (to front line employees and senior leaders) both written and verbal, attention to detail, and highly organized
